1.To serve as counsel to UMC, with a focus on compliance tasks
2.Monitor changes in laws and regulations and plan responsive actions to ensure legal compliance
3.Draft policies, procedures and contractual documents drafting
4.Provide litigation/investigation support to in-house and outside litigation counsel
5.Training internal personnel in substantive legal issues, especially from the proactive legal perspective
6.Advise and participate in strategic customer related matters

1.3+ Experience in areas of legal compliance preferred; litigation experience (esp. in business, IP or employment disputes) a plus

Solid English and Mandarin language, familiar with office software operation,
prefer science/technology training or experience, or ability and desire to understand
